D.H.Lawrance has drawn a clear picture of winter and spring in his essay,, Whistling of the Birds,,. He calls winter a season of death. He likes spring and calls it a season of life and happiness. The writer does not like winter. The Birds and the others living things of nature suspend their activity. They are frozen .The wintry frost brings destruction on birds and animals .The ground is full of dead bodies of  birds .The trees while the spring season is full of like and activity .The rays of sun being to  shine everything gets a new outlook .There is gladness everything. The birds being to sing and enjoy themselves.

D.H.Lawrence نے اپنےاس مضمون"Whistling of the Birds"میں موسم سرم اور موسم بہارکی واضح تصویر کھینچی ہے۔وہ موسم سرم کو موتکا سیزن کہتا ہے۔وہ موسم بہارکو پسندکرتاہے۔اسے زندگی اورخوشی کاموسم کہتاہے۔ مصنف موسم کوپسند نہیں کرتاہے۔موسم سرم میں پرندےاورقدرت کی دوسری اشیاءاپنی سرگرمیوں کو روک دیتی ہیں۔وہ منجمدہوجاتی ہیں۔موسم کاقہرپرندوں اورجانوروں پرتباہی لاتاہے۔زمیں پرندوں کےمردہ اجسام سے بھرجاتی ہے۔درخت اورپودےتازگی کو دیتے ہیں۔زمیں مردہ ہوجاتی ہے۔ہرکوئی برف اور دھندسےخوفزادہوتاہے،جبکہ موسم بہارزندگی اور سرگرمیوں سےبھراہوتاہے۔سورج کی کرنیں تیزی سےچمکناشروع ہوجاتی ہیں۔درخت اورپودےنئی زندگی حاصل کرتےہیں اور ہوا کو خوشبوسےبھردیتےہیں۔موسم بہارمیں ہرچیزکو نیارنگ چڑھ جاتاہے۔ ہر طرف خوشی ہی خوشی ہوتی ہے۔پرندےگاناشروع کردیتےہیں اوراندوزہوتےہیں۔

 

The writer describes spring in a very impressive and convincing manner. The black bird’s dove’s lapwing, redwings and others small birds being to whistle. In the end, the writer says that life and death are against each others. As life cannot exist in the presence of death, in the same way death cannot stay in the presence of life.

مصنف موسم بہارکو متاثرکرنےوالےاورقائل کرنے والے اندازمیں بیان کرتاہے۔کالےپرندے،فاختائیں Redving,Lapving اوردوسرےچھوٹے چھوٹے پرندے سیٹیاں بجانا شروع کردیتےہیں۔آخرمیں مصنف کہتاہےکہ زندگی اور موت ایک دوسرےکے خلاف ہیں۔جس طرح زندگی موت کی موجودگی میں برقرار نہیں رہ سکتی اس طرح موت زندگی کی موجودگی میں قیام نہیں کرسکتی۔
