Forster)
In this essay “Tolerance” the writer says that
the second world was brought great destruction with it. It killed millions of
people and spoiled the peaceful atmosphere of the world. The writer says that
to things are needed to rebuild the nations after war. First is sound state of
mind and second is tolerance.
اس مضمون
"Tolerance" میں مصنف کہتا ہے کہ دوسری جنگ عظیم
اپنے ساتھ بہت بڑی تباہی لائی۔ اُس نے لاکھوں لوگوں کو مار دیا اور دنیا کہ امن کو
تباہ کر دیا۔ مصنف کہتا ہے کہ جنگ کے بعد قوموں کو دوبارہ تعمیر نو کےلیے دو چیزوں
کی ضرورت ہوتی ہے۔ پہلی ذہن کی مضبوط حالت اور دوسری قوت برداشت ہے۔
According to the writer, all planning s and
policies of reconstruction can succeed if there is sound state of mind behind
it.
Second thing of reconstruction is tolerance.
It is the quality which can bring different race and classes close to one
another. The writer says that the people of different countries differ in their
colors and skins. How can they live together? It has two solutions.
مصنف کے مطابق
تعمیر نو کے تمام منصوبے اور پالیسیاں اس وقت کامیاب ہوسکتی ہیں، اگر اس کے پیچھے
ذہن کی مضبوط حالت ہو۔ تعمیر نو کی دوسری چیز قوت برداشت ہے۔ یہ وہ خوبی ہے جو
مختلف نسلوں اور جماعتوں کو ایک دوسرے کے قریب لا سکتی ہے۔ مصنف یہ کہتا ہے کہ
مختلف ملکوں کے لوگ اپنے رنگ اور جلد میں فرق رکھتے ہیں۔ وہ کیسے اکٹھے رہ سکتے
ہیں۔ یہ اس کے دو حل ہیں۔
It means if you do not like the people. Kill
them or deport them. But the writer is not in favor of it, because it creates
violence.
پہلا حل:
اس کا مطلب ہے
کہ اگر آپ لوگوں کو پسند نہیں کرتے تو انھیں جلا وطن کر دو۔ لیکن مصنف اس کی حمایت
میں نہیں کیونکہ یہ تشدد پیدا کرتا ہے۔
Second solution is tolerance. It recommends us
to tolerate those people whom you do not like. Our country needs it badly. Our
country can also make progress and get rid of all kind of terrorism, if our
politicians and rulers begin to tolerate one another.
دوسرا حل:
دوسرا حل قوت
برداشت ہے ۔ یہ ان لوگوں کو برداشت کرنے کی سفارش کرتا ہے، جس کو آپ پسند نہیں
کرتے۔ ہمارے ملک کو اس کی شدت سے ضرورت ہے۔ ہمارا ملک بھی ترقی کرسکتا ہے اور ہر
طرح کی دہشت گردی سے چھٹکارہ پا سکتا ہے، اگر ہمارے سیاستدان اور حکمران ایک دوسرے
کو برداشت کرنا شروع کر دیں۔
The writer
throws light on the value of tolerance on human affairs. He point out
that dispute and quarrels of nation can be settled down, if they start living
with one another the base of tolerance.
مصنف انسانی
معاملات میں قوت برداشت کی اہمیت پر روشنی ڈالتا ہے۔ وہ اس بات کی طرف اشارہ کرتا
ہے کہ قوموں کے لڑائی جھگڑوں کو حل کیا جاسکتا ہے، اگر وہ قوت برداشت کی بنیاد پر
ایک دوسرے کے ساتھ رہنا شروع کر دیں۔
