The writers had been dealing with him for the last thirty years. He always stood in the back part of his shop and a measuring tape was hanging around his nick. His tailor was very kind, happy and cheerful person. He always welcome the writers and other customers with a smiling face. He was never worried about the payment of the bill. The bill was such a matte as he solved by correspondence. There is no doubt that his method of asking the bill was unique.

سال سے اس کے ساتھ کاروبار کررہاتھا۔وہمیشہ دوکان کے پچھلے حصے میں
کھڑاہوتاتھااورپیمائش کا فیتہ اس کی گردن سے لٹک رہاہوتاتھا۔اس کا درزی بہت
مہربان،خوش وخرم اوراچھی شخصیت رکھتاتھا۔وہ ہمیشہ مصنف کو اوردوسرےگاہکوں کو
مسکراتے ہو ئےخوش آمدید کہتاتھا۔وہ بل کے بارے میں بات کرنے کی کبھی پرواہ نہیں
کرتاتھا۔ بل ایک ایسامعاملہ تھا،جس کوخط وکتابت کے ذریعےحل کرتاتھا۔اس میں کوئی شک
نہیں اس کا بل مانگنےکا طریقہ لطیف تھا۔
As the writers entered his shop, he asked him
which cloth he wanted to have for his suit Serge and Tweed. He at once gave his
preference to serge without knowing his choice. He was a professional tailor.
He lifted his knee and dropped cloth over it and stood one leg. After
receiving the order for the suit he always talked about the weather. “Pleasant
weather we are having”. His tailor knew that there was no change in his
measurement but he measured his chest. The writer was happy to know that his
chest had grown by one inch.

اس کی دوکان میں داخل ہوتاتووہاس سےپہلےپوچھتا وہ کون ساکپڑااپنےسوٹ
کےلیےلیناچاہتاہے۔Surge Tweed وہ خود ہی اس کے انتخاب کو جانےبغیرSurge کے
لیےاپنی ترجیح دیتاہے۔وہ ایک پیشہ وردرزی تھا۔وہ اپناگھٹنہ اٹھاتا،اس پر
کپڑالپیٹتاہےاورایک ٹانگ پرکھڑاہوجاتا۔سوٹ کےلیےآرڈلینے کے بعد وہ ہمیشہ موسم کے
بارے میں بات کرتا۔موسم بڑاخوشگوار ہے۔اس کا درزی جانتاتھاکہ اس کی پیمائش میں
کوئی تبدیلی نہیں ہے،لیکن وہ ہر مرتبہاس کے سینےکی پیمائش لیتاتھا۔مصنف یہ جان
کرخوش ہوتاکہ اس کاسینہ ایک انچ بڑھ گیاہے۔
He never talked to him about his family. That
is why the writer considered him immortal. The writer was much grieved when he
came to know about his poor family after death.
وہ کبھی بھی
اپنے خاندان اور اس کے مسائل کے بارے میں یہ بات نہیں کرتا تھا۔ اس لیے مصنف اسے
لافانی خیال کرتا تھا۔ مصنف کو اس وقت بہت دکھ ہوا جب اسے موت کے بعد اس کے غریب
خاندان کے بارے میں پتہ چلا۔
